W. Africa Crude-Angolan Pazflor trades for October

West African crude oil differentials were under downward pressure on Monday, with an October-loading cargo of Angolan Pazflor trading below previously heard levels.

Unipec bought the Pazflor cargo loading October 23-24 at dated Brent plus 40 cents via the Platts system, a trader said. This is below the last known offer level of dated plus $1.55 on August 18.

Slower seasonal demand and refinery maintenance are expected by some traders to weigh on differentials during the October trading cycle.

On Nigerian crude, there are still some unsold September cargoes, though not a large amount, a trader said.
