MSC unit acquires stake in Turkey’s SOCAR Terminal

Terminal Investment Limited, a unit of Mediterranean Shipping Company, the world’s leading container shipping company, has acquired a stake in SOCAR Terminal in Turkey, SOCAR said.

“We will accelerate our investments in new equipment, technology and digitalization, while maximizing operational efficiency to provide the highest level of service to all stakeholders and customers,” Rovshan Najaf, SOCAR president, said after signing a strategic cooperation agreement with MSC.

As the largest container terminal in the Aegean region, SOCAR Terminal serves as a strategic logistics hub for both regional and global trade.
