2020 Bulkers’ charter earnings on six newcastlemax bulkers | Freight news

Lars-Christian Svensen-led 2020 Bulkers achieved in September average time charter equivalent rate (TCE) of approximately $36,600 per day, gross.

The Oslo Børs-listed newcastlemax shipowner said in a commercial update that the company’s four vessels trading on index-linked time charter earned around $37,200 per day, gross, including average daily scrubber benefits of approximately $1,000 per day.

As stated, the company’s two vessels trading on fixed time charter earned approximately $35,600 per day, gross, including average daily scrubber benefits of approximately $2,200 per day. 2020 Bulkers had 180 operational days in September 2025.

The Baltic 5TC Capesize Index averaged $26,520 during September 2025.

Currently, 2020 Bulkers has six newcastlemax dry bulk vessels in operation. All vessels are fitted with exhaust scrubber systems.
