Dan-Bunkering announces strategic relocation to strengthen New Fuels presence in Europe

Dan-Bunkering Europe is proud to announce the relocation of James Shiller, Global Lead of New Fuels, to the company’s Copenhagen office.

James Shillers relocation to Denmark is both a sensible and strategic decision for Dan-Bunkering, supporting our goal of assisting customers through the maritime energy transition. As regulatory frameworks such as the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) and FuelEU Maritime drive decarbonisation across the sector, James Shillers presence in Denmark ensures closer collaboration with clients and colleagues.

Michel Dominique Thomsen, Commercial Director, Dan-Bunkering Europe, comments:

“The maritime sector is undergoing an important transformation, and our customers are looking for clarity and confidence as they adapt to alternative fuels and regulations. Having James in Copenhagen brings our global expertise closer to the European market.”

James Shiller has also been pivotal in upskilling more than 90 Dan-Bunkering fuel suppliers worldwide, and he will continue to educate our team on the latest developments in low-carbon fuels across all our Dan-Bunkering offices.
