
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL; President & CEO: Takeshi Hashimoto) today announced that on November 14, it received the “Silver” rating in the “PRIDE Index 2025” (Note 1) for initiatives on LGBTQ+ and other sexual minorities.
The MOL Group set forth diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) as one of the basic principles of its “MOL Group Human Capital Vision,” which represents its fundamental approach to human resources policy. As part of this initiative, the group provides seminars for all employees to promote understanding of LGBTQ+ issues, conducts internal awareness activities in connection with Pride Month, and distributes stickers to employees declaring themselves as allies. In 2025, the group expanded its initiatives to include donations to LGBTQ+ organizations and participation in events involving external partners. As a result, it met four out of five evaluation criteria and received the “Silver” rating in the “PRIDE Index 2025.”
