TT-Line orders new Green 2.0 RoPax vessel | Shipyard news

The Germany-headquartered ferry company TT-Line has announced in its LinkedIn social media account that it has signed the contract for the construction of a new Green RoPax vessel at the China Merchants Jinling Shipyard.

The new ordered RoPax vessel, around 240 metres in length and designed for approximately 1,000 passengers, will feature an advanced LNG-hybrid propulsion system, complemented by a shore power–fed battery solution.

TT-Line states that building on the proven performance of the Green Ships Nils Holgersson and Peter Pan, the Green Ship 2.0 now ordered will integrate technical upgrades and optimised design to enhance operational efficiency, environmental performance and passenger comfort – including improved cabin concepts and newly designed spacious outdoor areas.
