Gulf Marine Services has won a two-year contract extension, comprising one firm year plus a one-year option, for one of its S‐Class vessels currently operating in the GCC region.

The firm did not reveal the name of its client. With this extension secured, the company’s backlog has increased to $607 million.

Mansour Al Alami, GMS’ Executive Chairman, commented: “Closing the year with this award is a strong endorsement of GMS’s strategy, fleet performance and disciplined execution.

“With a robust backlog and a supportive industry outlook, we remain well positioned to deliver sustainable value for our stakeholders.”

The extension comes after GMS obtained a new long-term deal for one of its large‐class vessels in the Middle East.
