The market was today with a more balanced tendency in parts of the drybulk market. The capes had little slower activity, the panamax with improving activity, the supramax and handysize both with little better activity.
The capesizes had marginal slower activity and the result therefore was stable rates in almost all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was little better and the market reacted with minor increasing rates in almost all areas and directions.
For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market had mainly unchanged activity levels. The supramax tonnage had unchanged activity with very minor increasing rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was also with unchanged activity, and resulted also in very minor increasing rates in all areas and directions.
The European coaster market was today with fair activity level. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were again with minor increasing rates. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were minor increasing rates and the Mediterranean had slight increasing rate levels today.
The tanker market was today with fine level of activity. The crude oil tankers were with fine activity resulting in slight increasing rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was today again with fair activity and it resulted also in minor increasing rate levels from the various loading areas.
