FUJAIRAH DATA: Oil products stocks fall for first time in five weeks

Oil products stockpiles at Fujairah in the UAE declined 8% in the week ended Feb. 2, with all categories declining, according to Fujairah Oil Industry Zone data published Feb. 4.

The total fell to 21.490 million barrels, the first decrease in five weeks.

Middle distillates such as jet fuel and diesel fell 15% week over week to 2.893 million barrels, the lowest in three weeks.

Heavy distillates used as fuels for power generation and shipping fuel declined 7.9% to 10.531 million barrels, the first drop in four weeks. Light distillates such as gasoline and naphtha slipped 5.4% to 8.066 million barrels, the first drop in three weeks.

Platts assessed low-sulfur marine fuel 0.5% bunker delivered in Fujairah at $451/mt on Feb. 3, up 0.2% day over day, compared with $394/mt for high-sulfur fuel oil 380 CST delivered in Fujairah, up 1.3% day over day. Platts is part of S&P Global Energy.
