CAPU ROSSU hits the water!

CORSICA linea proudly announced the successful float-out of CAPU ROSSU, its next-generation LNG-powered RoPax vessel, at the CMJL Jinling shipyard in Weihai, China.

This major milestone, marking the end of the structural assembly, brings Corsica Linea closer to a summer 2026 entry into service. Designed by Stena RoRo as part of the E-Flexer series, CAPU ROSSU will offer:

  • 1,035 passengers and 234 cabins
  • 120 trailers + 180 cars
  • Dual-fuel Wärtsilä engines (LNG)
  • A new standard in comfort, capacity, and sustainability

Sea trials are set for erly 2026, with delivery expected in March.
