BBC Chartering takes Seacon handysize newbuilding on charter | Dry bulk shipping news

German headquartered ship operator BBC Chartering stated in its social media account on LinkedIn that the handysize newbuilding Seacon Atlanta has joined BBC Chartering’s expanding fleet of modern handysize bulk carriers.

The 40,406-dwt vessel, built in 2026 at Jiangsu Dajin HI in China, features a fully open-hatch box-shaped (OHBS) design providing wide, unobstructed hatch openings and box-shaped holds. She has also 4×36 mts crane capacity.

The Seacon Atlanta is owned/managed by Seacon Shipping Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, and has already commenced her maiden voyage carrying premium project cargo shipments, as BBC Chartering informs.
