SAAM closes 2025 with record net income of US$ 80.4 million and consolidates regional leadership

SAAM performed solidly during 2025, consolidating its operating model and strengthening its commercial management to achieve historic results. Net income reached US$ 80.4 million, while EBITDA reached US$ 216.9 million, up 15% from 2024. Revenue grew 9% compared to the previous year.

“2025 was a record year in revenue and results, thanks to a combination of resilient activity in our business segments and a better mix of services, coupled with the operational efficiencies we have achieved. This progress is the result of a consistent strategy that positions us as a regional leader and opens the door to a new phase of global expansion for SAAM.

Between 2021 and 2025, the company doubled the size of its continuing operations following the sale of its port assets and established itself as a relevant player of scale in the logistics industry in the Americas, operating from Canada to Chile. The company also reported that its board of directors agreed to propose a US$ 60.4 million dividend to shareholders at the annual general meeting, in addition to the total interim dividend of US$ 20 million already distributed in December 2025.

Results by Business Area

In the towage segment (SAAM Towage), the company increased profitability, achieving an EBITDA margin of 35.6%, an EBITDA of US$ 187 million and 9% growth in revenue, which exceeded US$ 526 million, thanks to its high-quality, customer-centric service offering with a focus on sustainability.

In air logistics (Aerosan), revenue surpassed US$ 105 million and EBITDA increased by 16%, thanks to improvements in service and safety levels. In addition, the company pushed forward with new business deals and a comprehensive modernization of processes and infrastructure, allowing it to respond efficiently to the growing demands of the sector.

Highlights for the Year

Highlights for the year include an agreement to acquire the remaining 30% of Intertug, a deal that will give SAAM 100% ownership and reinforce its presence in Colombia and Mexico. Another key advancement last year was the commissioning of the Trapananda, the first electric tug in Latin America, which is currently operating in Puerto Chacabuco. This move reaffirms the company’s commitment to technologies that reduce the logistics chain’s environmental footprint. More recently, SAAM announced a change in its chief executive. After years of decisive leadership in the company, Macario Valdés left his position to take on new challenges at
Quiñenco. As of February 1, Hernán Gómez succeeded him as CEO.
