SCA’s scope includes the engineering, manufacturing, delivery, installation and commissioning of four carousel systems, including all associated loading equipment.

“This framework reflects the confidence in SCA’s ability to deliver integrated cable handling systems at scale,” said Sil de Rijke, Managing Director at SCA.

According to SCA, the contract was secured through a competitive European tender process.

The company last year secured a contract from N-Sea Group covering the full design, manufacturing, delivery, and commissioning of a cable installation deck spread for the cable-laying vessel (CLV) Altera.
