Drewry: The World Container Index remained unchanged in week 14-2026 | Freight news

In accordance with the assessment of Drewry Supply Chain Advisors, the container rates last week remained mainly stable. As it is mentioned, their composite World Container Index remained unchanged at $2,287 per 40-foot container.

Freight rates from Shanghai to Rotterdam remained unchanged at $2,543, and Rotterdam to Shanghai increased by 2% or $10 to $605 per 40-foot container.

The rates from Shanghai to Genoa increased by 2% or $55 to $3,529, while Shanghai to Los Angeles decreased by 1% or $23 to $2,663. As it is also reported, those on Shanghai to New York increased by 1% or $41 to $3,434 per 40-foot container.

Meanwhile, the rates from Los Angeles to Shanghai increased by 2% or $13 to $742, and Rotterdam to New York increased by 2% or $37 to $1,579 per FEU. Furthermore, the freight from New York to Rotterdam increased by 3% or $31 to $1,001 per 40-foot container.
