IAPH will take part in an international forum organised by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), taking place 27–28 May 2026 in Brussels. Maritime Cyber Lab 2026 – From Risk to Resilience is designed as a practitioner-focused, interactive platform that brings together senior stakeholders from across the maritime sector, including ports, shipping companies, international organisations, insurers, financial institutions, and technology experts.
IAPH managing director Patrick Verhoeven will offer opening remarks at the event and IAPH senior manager: Data Collaboration, Risk & Resilience Chloe Rowland is set to contribute to panels on operational cyber risks in the maritime supply chain and capacity development in cybersecurity. Rather than a traditional conference, the Lab emphasises collaboration through expert discussions, real-world case analysis, and breakout sessions. Participants will explore emerging cyber risks, governance frameworks, and operational challenges, while identifying practical strategies to strengthen resilience across interconnected maritime infrastructure.
