Following the most successful Geneva Dry to date, organisers are now focused on delivering the same topical, lively content and debate at the inaugural Splash Singapore, due to take place at the Fairmont Hotel on September 24.
Built on eight editions of the Maritime CEO Forum Singapore and organised by the team behind shipping news site Splash and Geneva Dry, Splash Singapore brings a proven conference philosophy to a bigger stage: no presentations, no selling – just the most senior figures in global shipping in genuine, unscripted conversation about the issues that matter.
With the support of Singapore Maritime Foundation, panels will be packed full of shipowners, shipmanagers and charterers.
Sessions include the opening Big Issues hour, as well as specials on tankers, dry bulk, and the future of fixing. Much interest surrounds the event’s AI, Digitalisation, And The Maritime Workforce session. There’s also the brand new SpashTech Digital Leaders Forum, bringing together an unmatched set of heavyweight names in maritime tech for frank discussion on where shipping is getting it right and wrong in harnessing digitalisation.
“Anyone who has attended any of our events knows what you’re going to get from attending Splash Singapore – a markets masterclass, along with an unrivalled tech debate in sumptuous settings surrounded by owners and charterers. It’s what we strive to deliver every day – and was clearly on show in Switzerland last week,” commented Grant Rowles, the event’s co-founder.
Confirmed speakers include Andreas Michalopoulos, CEO, Performance Shipping, Arthur English, CEO, G2 Ocean, Christoph Toepfer, CEO, Borealis Maritime and Founder, Borealis Tankers, Elaine Yu, Senior Chartering, South32 and Vice Chair, ICS Singapore Branch, Ingrid Kylstad, Managing Director, Klaveness Digital, Jan Rindbo, CEO, Norden, Jeremy Sutton, Chief Executive Officer, Swire Shipping, John Su, Group Chairman & CEO, Erasmus Shipinvest Group, Marina Hadjipateras, Co-Founder & General Partner, TMV, Martin Fruergaard, CEO, Pacific Basin Shipping, Michelle Gonzalez, Head of Chartering, Long Term Contracts & Ops / APAC ME, Vale, Mikael Skov, CEO, Hafnia, Nakul Malhotra, VP Emerging Opportunities Portfolio, Wilhelmsen Group, Nick Potter, President & CEO, AET, Rajesh Divakaran, GM and Head of Group Crewing Services, BW Group, Stamatis Tsantanis, Chairman and CEO, Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corp. and United Maritime Corporation, Tabitha Logan, Director – Projects, Cetus Maritime, Torbjørn Gjervik, CEO, Western Bulk and Willem Vermaat, Shipping Director, Heidelberg Materials Trading, while Tim Huxley, CEO of Mandarin Shipping, adds his customary candour to proceedings as one of the industry’s most entertaining conference moderators, his turn in the chair during last week’s iron ore session being one of the highlights of Geneva Dry 2026.
Registration is priced at just S$750. Special discounted hotel room rates at the Fairmont have been secured exclusively for Splash Singapore delegates, making it straightforward to combine attendance with an extended stay in Singapore to attend many other events taking place in late September.
The timing of Splash Singapore is no accident. The event takes place the day before the Singapore Shipping Association’s renowned annual dinner – one of the most attended nights in the Asian maritime calendar – meaning delegates arriving for Splash Singapore find themselves at the centre of a week-long concentration of maritime activity. Marine Money’s Singapore event also features during the same week.
