IC Shipbrokers herewith welcomes you to today’s freight market report. We are giving you an insight in today’s freight market and an update with the latest freight market indications.

The market was today with a mix of directions in parts of the drybulk market. The capes had a slow start of the week, the panamax little slower activity, and the supramax plus the handysize both with little improving activity.

The capesizes had today slow activity and therefore the result was slight falling rates in almost all areas and directions. For the panamax size the activity was little slower and the market reacted with minor falling rates in almost all areas and directions.

For the supramax and handysize dry cargo tonnage the market had both little better activity levels. The supramax tonnage had little better general activity with minor increasing rate levels in most areas and directions. For the handysize vessels the market was also with better activity, and resulted in unchanged rates in all areas and directions.

The European coaster market was today with slower activity level. In the Baltic Sea area or on the Continent the freight rates were with falling rates. The freight rates in the Black Sea area were with minor increasing rates and the Mediterranean had minor falling rate levels today.

The tanker market was today with a sliding level of activity. The crude oil tankers were with little slower activity resulting in further minor falling rates in most areas and directions. The product tanker market was today with further slowing activity and it resulted in minor falling rate levels from the various loading areas.
