E.A. Gibson Shipbrokers and RMK Maritime (Europe) Ltd join forces to expand maritime advisory offering

E.A. Gibson Shipbrokers Ltd (Gibson), a globally recognised leader in shipbroking, is proud to announce that it is joining forces with RMK Maritime (Europe) Ltd (RMK Maritime), an established maritime finance, advisory and capital raising firm. Effective from 1st August 2025, RMK Maritime will be rebranded as E.A. Gibson Capital.

This marks the launch of a significant and exciting business development for Gibson’s expanding service offering.
Rooted in a 130-year legacy, Gibson is a 100% employee-owned company with operations across seven international locations – London, Houston, Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, Mumbai and Athens. The addition of RMK Maritime’s expertise supports Gibson’s broader vision – investing in innovation and strengthening advisory capability to evolve alongside the needs of the industry.

Richard Moore, Co-Founder and former Managing Director of RMK Maritime, will take on the role of leading the new division as Director, E. A. Gibson Capital. “We are excited to work with Roger and the Gibson team in developing the firm’s maritime finance capabilities to support the Company’s strategic growth.” Richard said, “We believe this combination will leverage our shared expertise to meet evolving industry demands and to ensure we continue to deliver exceptional services to our valued clients.”
