Drewry: The World Container Index remains stable this week 24-2025 | Container news

In accordance with the assessment of Drewry Supply Chain Advisors, the container rates are now with nearly unchanged levels. As it is mentioned, their composite World Container Index remained stable at $3,543 per 40-foot container.

Freight rates from Shanghai to New York increased 2% or $121 to $7,285, and Shanghai to Los Angeles increased 1% or $38 to $5,914 per 40-foot container.

Also, the rates from Rotterdam to Shanghai rose 1% or $3 to $512 per FEU, but opposite way Shanghai to Rotterdam remain stable at $2,837 per FEU.

The rates from New York to Rotterdam dropped 1% or $69 to $815 per 40-foot container.

Finally, the rates from Shanghai to Genoa, Rotterdam to New York, and Los Angeles to Shanghai remain stable.
