The big names continue to sign up to speak at the third edition of Geneva Dry, scheduled for April 28 and 29, while new sister show, Splash Singapore, has also attracted some famous shipping executives.
Geneva Dry, the world’s premier commodities shipping summit, is set to have its most high calibre line-up of panellists when it reconvenes in April with more shipowners and charterers than ever.
Latest sign-ups to speak include Fabian Kowatsch, shipping decarbonisation lead at Louis Dreyfus Company, Karen Taylor, head of industrial commodities at ADM Investor Services, Lars-Christian Svensen, CEO or 2020 Bulkers and Himalaya Shipping, Mohammed Bin Battal, president of Bahri Dry Bulk, Imad Al Khaduri, chief commercial officer at Asyad Shipping, Scott Bergeron, executive director of Oldendorff Carriers, and Emanuele Ravano, co-CEO of IFCHOR GALBRAITHS.
The annual Geneva Dry, which debuted in 2024, is fast becoming one of the most influential shipping conferences in the world, bringing together shipowners, charterers, traders, brokers, tech firms and analysts for high-level dialogue across the entire dry bulk value chain—from operational realities to macroeconomic drivers.
Last year’s edition saw 825 delegates from more than 40 countries attend the two-day event, with organisers forced to issue a Sold Out sign in the weeks leading up to the April event.
The 2026 version opens with the Commodities Shipping Outlook and is followed by a risk management session then a special looking at AI, digitalisation and the dry bulk workforce, before closing out day one with the always popular hour devoted to the future of fixing. Day two starts with a digital drivers panel before moving onto the dry decarbonisation session, at which point the conference closes out with cargo-specific panels on minor bulks, agri-commodities, coal and iron ore.
Organisers of Geneva Dry will also this year debut Splash Singapore on September 24, a new event building on eight editions of the Maritime CEO Forum Singapore.
Panels will be packed full of shipowners, shipmanagers and charterers.
Latest speakers to sign up to Splash Singapore include Martin Fruergaard, the CEO of Pacific Basin Shipping, Marina Hadjipateras, co-founder and general partner at TMV, and Willem Vermaat, shipping director at Heidelberg Materials Trading.
Commented Grant Rowles, co-founder of both events, “We could not be more happy with the top names who have agreed to take the stage with us in Singapore and Geneva. Delegates attending either event will have a unique opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the industry’s best known shipowners and charterers.”
