Geneva Dry, the premier annual gathering for the dry bulk shipping and commodities industries, today unveiled its finalised conference agenda ahead of the event’s return to the Hotel President Wilson on April 28 and 29 — with 40 days to go and approximately 250 companies already registered, organisers say delegate momentum is running well ahead of previous editions.

The two-day programme brings together an exceptional roster of shipowners, commodity traders, charterers, analysts, and technology leaders for what promises to be a particularly timely edition, given the seismic shifts currently reshaping global commodity flows.

Organisers confirmed new speaker additions and a charitable partnership with Mercy Ships, underscoring the event’s commercial heft and sectoral purpose.

Highlights from the two‑day programme include the headline Commodities Shipping Outlook, Risk Management in Dry Bulk, and a high‑impact Digital Dry Hard Talk workshop.

New speakers confirmed for sessions across the summit include Alan Cumming, Head of Dry Freight at Trafigura; Filipe Gonzaga from Bryce; Alessandro Massimilla of Quadra Commodities; and Daniel Weiss, GM Shipping Strategy at Vale.

The conference opens with a welcome from Delphine Bachmann, State Councillor for Geneva’s Department of Economy and Employment, before moving into a packed agenda that includes panels on AI and the workforce, the future of fixing, dry decarbonisation, minor bulks, agri‑commodities, coal and iron ore.

Geneva Dry has also announced a tie‑up with Mercy Ships. The partnership will support the charity’s healthcare and training work and provide delegates with a concrete way to contribute to maritime social impact initiatives during the event.
