Azerbaijan’s oil exports via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline fell to 27.18 million metric tons in 2025, down 7.8% from a year earlier, as supplies were affected by tainted oil, Azerbaijani data showed.

Azerbaijan’s total oil transit amounted to 36.3 million tons in 2025, with 74.9% shipped via the BTC pipeline, according to the country’s statistics committee.

Transit oil volumes from other countries, including Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, transported via BTC fell to 4.12 million tons in 2025 from 5.30 million tons in 2024, the data showed.
