CBOT wheat tick lower as global supply weighs

Chicago Board of Trade wheat futures spent Friday seesawing but ended lower to slip from a three-week high.

Ample global supplies continue to anchor prices despite resilient demand for U.S. wheat.

Ukraine’s 2025 wheat harvest is seen falling to around 21 million metric tons, including 10.3 million tons of milling wheat, the Ukrainian millers’ union said on Friday.

CBOT December soft red winter wheat (WZ25) settled 2-1/2 cents lower at $5.27-1/4 per bushel.

K.C. December hard red winter wheat (KWZ25) fell 5 cents to $5.21 a bushel.

Minneapolis September spring wheat (MWEU25) rose 1 cent to end at $5.90 a bushel.
