Iraq to revamp pipeline for direct oil exports to Turkey’s Ceyhan port

Iraq is working to rehabilitate a pipeline that will enable oil to be pumped directly to Turkey’s Ceyhan port without passing through the Kurdistan region, the Iraqi oil minister said in a video statement published on Monday.

The minister said Iraq will complete inspection of a 100-kilometer section of the pipeline in a week to enable direct exports from Kirkuk.
