Klaveness Combination Carriers secures two-year charter for CLEANBU vessel | Tankers

Klaveness Combination Carriers ASA (KCC) has secured – through its subsidiary – a two-year time charter for the Bass, a CLEANBU vessel built in 2021.

The main terms of the time charter with an undisclosed player in the global energy industry were concluded in mid-February and will commence in May 2026.

The chief executive officer Engebret Dahm noted that the concluded time charter enables KCC to capture value in the current strong product tanker market while strengthening an existing relationship with a major charterer.

The company’s remaining seven CLEANBU vessels will continue operating in KCC’s core combination trades.

KCC currently owns and operates nine CABU and eight CLEANBU combination carriers with two CABU vessels under construction for delivery in 2026.
