Norwegian offshore vessel owner DOF has picked up two significant long-term contracts in Brazil with state-controlled oil giant Petrobras, securing more than $275m in combined value.
The first contract involves the 2009-built anchor handling tug supply vessel (AHTS) Skandi Logger. The vessel will enter into a four-year contract with Petrobras starting February 2026 and will be reflagged under the Brazilian flag.
In a separate tender process, Petrobras also awarded DOF a four-year contract for the 2007-built Skandi Achiever as a remotely operated vehicle support vessel (RSV). The contract is scheduled to begin in December 2025, immediately following the vessel’s current engagement with another client in Brazil. The deal includes the utilisation of Skandi Achiever’s two work-class ROVs and subsea crane.
The new contracts follow a competitive tender process and come on the heels of $480m fixtures secured by AHTS vessels Skandi Iguaçu, Skandi Angra, Skandi Paraty, and Skandi Urca, commencing in 2026.
