Global Ports and RusTrans Group Expand Container Service from Shanghai to Russia’s Far East

RusTrans Group marine container line has deployed a second vessel on the route connecting ports in China with the Global Ports (part of Delo Group) terminal in Vrangel Bay (located at the deep-water Port of Vostochny in Primorsky Krai). The expanded service will see vessel calls increase from three to six times per month.

The newly added containership, Hong Li Chang Jiu, has a capacity of 1,100 TEU. Its port rotation includes Shanghai, Rizhao, and Qingdao (via bonded barge).

The vessel is scheduled to make its first call at the Port of Shanghai on August 15, followed by Rizhao on August 17. It is expected to arrive at Global Ports’ terminal in Vrangel on August 23.

In addition to the new route, RusTrans Group also operates a container shipping service between the Global Ports terminal in Primorsky Krai and the Chinese port of Ningbo, serviced by the Neptune Line containership.

Global Ports’ terminal in Vrangel has been receiving RusTrans Group vessels since August 2024.
