There’s no stopping the tsunami of maritime podcasts hitting the airwaves. 

Chris Aversano, host of the entertaining podcast The Last Dinosaur, has produced his annual maritime podcast landscape (see below) with five names deleted for inactivity and a further 12 added, taking the total number of commercial shipping-focused podcasts to 61. 

“It’s a remarkable feat for a niche industry, and proof of a sector that is hungry for knowledge and conversation,” Aversano said. 

The landscape also highlights the huge breath of topics covered among the 61 podcasts covered. A new entrant on Aversano’s list is Splash Wrap, our brand-new weekly take on the key shipping headlines.
