Seaway7 promotes insider Lloyd Duthie to CEO role

Subsea7’s renewables arm Seaway7 has appointed Lloyd Duthie as chief executive officer, effective April 1, as part of a wider leadership reshuffle within the group.

Duthie will take over from Stuart Fitzgerald, who is moving up to become CEO of Subsea7, a transition announced earlier this month.

The incoming chief brings more than 25 years of experience within the Subsea7 group, having held a range of senior roles across the business. Most recently, he served as Seaway7’s deputy CEO and vice president for its UK and Asia operations.

Fitzgerald said Duthie’s track record and long-standing industry relationships made him well-suited to lead the business through its next phase of growth.

“It is a privilege to step into this role,” Duthie said, adding: “Seaway7 is built on trusted client relationships and a commitment to safe, dependable project delivery. I look forward to leading the business as we continue to strengthen our position as a leading contractor in offshore wind.”
