The Chinese-Polish Joint Stock Shipping Company, Chipolbrok, founded by the governments of China and Poland, has contracted up to 10 next-generation vessels.

The joint venture, which specializes in the transportation of breakbulk, project cargo, and heavy-lift shipments, has inked a deal for six new-generation 60,800-dwt multipurpose heavy-lift vessels.

The deal comes with an option for additional four vessels.

The newbuild vessels will feature three 200-ton cranes (up to 400 tons in tandem), a large, unobstructed deck area, 4 holds with tween decks and forward accommodation, improving cargo handling efficiency.

The newbuildings will be equipped with a shaft generator, ice class, and fuel-efficient main engines.

The first deliveries are scheduled from November 2027.

Chipolbrok said: “We have signed a contract for six new-generation 60,800-dwt multipurpose heavy-lift vessels with option of additional four vessels, further strengthening our capabilities in project, oversized and special cargo trades.”

The fleet of the company consists of total 31 vessels in 7 types.
