Daehan Shipbuilding disclosed on the 27th that last year it posted 1.2281 trillion won in revenue and 294.1 billion won in operating profit. Compared with the same period a year earlier, revenue rose 14.2% and operating profit increased 86.1%. Net profit for the same period climbed 42% to 245.1 billion won.

The annual operating margin was 23.9%, up 9.2 percentage points (p) from the same period a year earlier.

Kwon Seung-hun, head of the management planning team at Daehan Shipbuilding, said, “As construction of the high value-added ‘shuttle tanker’ class, strategically won in 2024, began in earnest, profitability accelerated,” adding, “With stable process management and a favorable exchange-rate trend, the quality of earnings improved further.”
