Maersk Offshore Wind takes delivery of next-generation WTIV from Seatrium | Shipyard news

The Singapore-headquartered shipyard expert Seatrium Limited (Seatrium) has announced the delivery of the next-generation wind turbine installation vessel (WTIV), which was handed over to Maersk Offshore Wind (MOW), on February 26, 2026.

The WTIV is custom-engineered and built by Seatrium to install some of the world’s largest offshore wind turbines.

The WTIV is due to sail in March 2026 for its first assignment at the Empire Wind project offshore New York, where it will play a pivotal role in advancing the wind farm’s mission to deliver energy to 500,000 homes.
