Delfin Midstream, a U.S.-based liquefied natural gas (LNG) export infrastructure development company, has sealed a new multi-year LNG supply agreement with Gunvor International B.V. Amsterdam, Geneva Branch (Gunvor).

Gunvor has entered into a 20-year LNG sale and purchase agreement (SPA) with Delfin LNG for the supply of 0.3 million tonnes of LNG per annum (mtpa) on a free-on-board (FOB) basis at the Delfin FLNG1 facility, located 40 nautical miles off the coast of Louisiana. This follows the SPA with Expand Energy for approximately 1.15 million tonnes per year of LNG on April 22, 2026.

The deal represents further enhancement of Gunvor’s LNG portfolio and together with our robust fleet, we will continue to position ourselves as a reliable supplier of LNG to all destinations around the globe.”

The Delfin LNG brownfield deepwater port is said to require minimal additional infrastructure investment to support up to three floating LNG (FLNG) vessels producing up to 13.2 mtpa of LNG. The project already received a deepwater port license from the Maritime Administration (MARAD) and approval from the U.S. Department of Energy for long-term exports of LNG to non-free trade agreement (non-FTA) countries.
