The 2009-built Fulmar Explorer, which joined the company’s fleet in 2019, will continue performing ocean bottom node (OBN) source work in the region until mid-June.

According to SeaBird Exploration, the extension maintains the same commercial terms as the original agreement.

The vessel was also previously awarded a three-month contract extension that brings the firm contract period to mid-March.

Earlier this month, the Cyprus-headquartered firm also announced the contract extension for Eagle Explorer in the Western Hemisphere, committing the vessel through mid-May.
