Soiltech has been awarded a contract to deliver fluid treatment (STT) services on a floater on the NCS, shortly after winning an assignment for Noble Corporation’s 16-year-old jack-up rig.

Erik Røvde, VP Operations at Soiltech, commented: “Our ongoing technology improvements are designed to minimize waste, maximize recycling, and reduce environmental impact—while at the same time generating significant cost savings for our clients.”

While the firm did not disclose the name of its client or the floater in question, it did explain that the start-up is expected in the first quarter of 2026.

The anticipated duration of the deal is approximately six months. This is described as a sizable contract with an estimated value of NOK 5 – 10 million ($0.5 – 1 million).
