HSFO availability has tightened in Houston, while VLSFO is readily available at the port with 4-8 days of lead times advised, a trader said.

In New York, prompt deliveries are available, but booking stems 3-7 days in advance is advised to avoid paying a prompt premium.

Demand remains low in Balboa this week, according to a bunker trader.

Similar to Houston, HSFO availability has tightened in Balboa. On the other hand, VLSFO and LSMGO are readily available and lead times of 0-3 days are recommended, according to a source.

As for Cristobal, all grades can be delivered within 7-8 days, consistent with last week.

Congestion persists in the port of Santos. LSMGO is readily available in the port.

In Paranagua, LSMGO stocks are almost depleted, while VLSFO is more available.

VLSFO was tight in Rio de Janeiro last week and stocks have since been replenished. LSMGO continues to be readily available in the port.

VLSFO and LSMGO grades are available with 1-2 days of lead time advised in OPL Sepetiba. Similarly, Belem and Vila do Conde also have good availability of both fuels.

In the ports of Itaqui and Salvador, lead times of 7-8 days are recommended for both grades. That is up from 2-3 days in Itaqui last week.

VLSFO and LSMGO availability looks tight in Rio Grande until the end of the month, a source said.

Prompt deliveries are tight in Argentina’s Zona Comun, according to a source.
