We are proud to announce the opening of a new entity and office in Tokyo, Japan — a significant step in Charter Haus‘ continued growth and commitment to serving our clients across Asia.

Japan remains one of the world’s leading maritime nations and the establishment of Charter Haus K.K. demonstrates our ongoing commitment to strengthening our relationships with key stakeholders in the region.

The new office, located at Hirakawa-cho Bldg. 7F, 2-6-1, Hirakawa-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, will enhance our ability to provide on the ground support, tailored analysis and real-time market intelligence to clients in the chemical tanker segment. Charter Haus K.K. will open its doors on 01 July 2025.

Led by Mr Shohei Fujisawa, the Tokyo office will serve as a hub for our Asia-Pacific operations, reinforcing our position as a trusted, global shipbroking partner.

Fujisawa brings with him 22 years of chemical tanker experience in both Tokyo and Singapore covering a range of products including chemicals and edible oils.

We are looking forward to building closer ties with the Japanese maritime community and positively contributing the the country’s dynamic shipping ecosystem.

Charter Haus AG is a competitive and independent shipbroker founded in 2020 with locations in Zug, Singapore, Hamburg and now Tokyo. The company has strong relationships within the fertilizer, agriculture and metal processing industries, helping our clients to optimise logistical supply chains for their liquid, dry and container transportation requirements.
