ZeroNorth and Maersk Tankers extend partnership | Ship Technology

Denmark´s maritime tech company ZeroNorth announced in its social media channel that the Copenhagen-headquartered Maersk Tankers has chosen to continue the partnership with ZeroNorth for another five-years period.

ZeroNorth states that the expanded scope covers 240 vessels, including all tankers and gas carriers under the management of Maersk Tankers.

The collaboration between the two companies includes voyage optimisation, onboard decision support through ZeroNorth Onboard with real-time routing and speed recommendations, and fleet performance and data quality management through SmartShip.

Michael Schytt Christensen, global head of operations at Maersk Tankers, says that “With the expanded scope of our partnership with Zeronorth we aim to simplify our internal processes while increasing our reporting quality and making our decision making on voyage execution and performance measures much better.”
