
Participants in the Platts APAC LNG cargo Market on Close assessment process concluded deliveries of the 56.1 TBtu traded in the first half of March 2026, according to operational trade performance data compiled by Platts, part of S&P Global Energy.
Trading activity in the Asia LNG physical MOC process surged in the first half of March for April delivery cargoes into the Japan-Korea-Taiwan-China region, climbing 318.56% month over month and up 231.95% year over year, Platts data showed.
Over the H1 March period, Glencore and Vitol were the largest buyer and seller, respectively, with a total of 76 TBtu traded by the two MOC participants.
