Azerbaijan’s oil output at 20.7 mmt in January to September, energy ministry says

Azerbaijan’s oil output fell by 4.2% to 20.7 million tonnes in January-September from 21.6 million tonnes a year earlier, the energy ministry said on Wednesday.

Oil exports for the first nine months of the year dropped to 17.4 million tonnes from 17.6 million tonnes.

Gas exports to Europe were unchanged at 9.4 billion cubic metres. Overall gas exports declined to 18.3 bcm from 18.4 bcm, the ministry said.

Gas exports to Turkey were unchanged at 7.3 bcm, while exports to Georgia fell to 1.6 bcm from 1.7 bcm. Gas exports to Turkey via the TANAP pipeline rose to 4.3 bcm from 4.2 bcm.
