Guyana’s oil output rose to 894,000 bpd in November, government data says

Guyana’s oil production rose to 894,000 barrels per day (bpd) in November from 841,000 bpd in October, the fourth month of consecutive output increase in the South American country, according to data published by the government.

Production has increased in the second half of the year since a consortium led by U.S. energy major Exxon Mobil, which controls all oil and gas output in the nation, added a fourth floating production facility.

The November oil output level pushed up the country’s accumulated average in the first 11 months of the year to almost 700,000 bpd, the data showed, above many neighboring producing countries in Latin America.
