US Gulf Coast refinery utilization rates hit highest since June 2023, EIA says

U.S. Gulf Coast refinery utilization rates jumped to their highest since June 2023, rising to 97.1% of capacity from 96.5% in the prior week, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in its weekly Petroleum Status Report on Wednesday.
On the West Coast, refinery utilization rates rose to their highest since September 2023, rising to 92.9% of capacity from 89.8% in the prior week, according to EIA.
