Floatel International has secured a contract with Norway’s Aker BP, which will enable the 2015-built Floatel Endurance to provide accommodation and construction support services to the FPSO Alvheim on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) in the central North Sea in 2029.

The medium-term contract is scheduled for late Q1/early Q2 2029. This vessel is also booked by the same operator for the Skarv project slated for Q1 2026 and the Yggdrasil project due to begin in Q3 2026.

Peter Jacobsson, Group CEO of Floatel International, commented: “We are very pleased to once again be given the trust and opportunity to deliver our services to Aker BP on another important project.”

Floatel Endurance is a semi-submersible accommodation vessel, which was constructed by the Keppel FELS yard in Singapore. This floatel received an acknowledgement of compliance (AoC) in 2016.
